Photomone

Welcome to my devlog for the game Photomone. It’s a simple (party?) game I wanted to make for a while, but I could never quite figure out the details. That is, until I made some more games, updated my gaming website to be way more interactive, and realized what needed to happen. Continue reading ...

The Shiny New Idea Syndrome

As I write this, there’s a piece of paper glued to my desk. On it is a list of games that are 90+% finished … yet never released. With the urgent message, to myself, to finally finish them and publish them officially. Preferably at breakneck speed, so I can start with my next shiny new idea. Continue reading ...

Keebble: Domino

Welcome to my devlog for the game Keebble Domino. As expected, it’s a part of the Keebble Games project. When thinking about how to make an improved Scrabble-like game, I got three ideas at the same time. The original version of Keebble was the easiest one to make. This idea was the second easiest to make. Continue reading ...

Welcome to the devlog for “Less is Store”. This game was created for the GoGodot Jam (iteration 4). Originally, I made an entirely different idea for this game jam. But my laptop is old and broken, and that idea was 3D … so after a few days, it just gave up. It crashed all the time, out of nowhere. And even if it didn’t, it was just too slow and laggy to stay motivated and productive. Continue reading ...

Pandaqi Games: 2023 Update (III)

Over the year, I’ve published a few updates on this blog about the inner workings of Pandaqi Games. First, I explained how the code was a HUGE mess (from almost 10 years of projects, going back to when I was a kid and had no clue what good programming was). I solved that by moving everything into simple libraries that were reused across the whole website. Continue reading ...
